Last updated: November 2024

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Toronto Pallets' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services.

2. Services

Toronto Pallets provides pallet sales, purchasing, repair, recycling, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

  • Sale of new and refurbished pallets
  • Pallet repair and maintenance services
  • Pallet recycling and buyback programs
  • Custom pallet manufacturing
  • Delivery and logistics services

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payment terms are net 30 days for approved commercial accounts. We accept major credit cards, wire transfers, and checks from established clients.

Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 1.5% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.

4. Delivery and Shipping

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Toronto Pallets is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery or pickup.

Customers must inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any discrepancies within 24 hours. Claims for shortages or damage must be filed promptly to be considered.

5. Product Quality and Grading

We grade all pallets according to industry standards. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, variations in wood characteristics are natural and expected. Pallets are sold as-is unless covered by a specific warranty agreement.

Premium Grade pallets are suitable for visible storage and one-way shipping. Standard Grade pallets are functional for general warehouse use. Economy Grade pallets may show wear but remain structurally sound.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused pallets in original condition. Custom orders and cut pallets are non-returnable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving returned merchandise. A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns not caused by product defects.

7. Liability Limitations

Toronto Pallets' liability is limited to the purchase price of the products or services in question. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages including lost profits or business interruption.

Customers are responsible for ensuring pallets meet their specific load requirements and compliance standards. We provide general guidance but ultimate responsibility for product suitability rests with the buyer.

8. Safety and Proper Use

Customers must follow proper safety protocols when handling, storing, and using pallets. This includes adhering to OSHA guidelines, respecting load capacity limits, and maintaining safe stacking practices.

Toronto Pallets is not responsible for injuries or property damage resulting from improper pallet use, overloading, or failure to follow industry safety standards.

9. Environmental Compliance

Customers purchasing pallets for international shipping are responsible for ensuring compliance with ISPM-15 regulations and obtaining necessary certifications. We provide heat-treated pallets upon request but customers must verify requirements for their specific destinations.
