Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Toronto Pallets is a referral service. We take quote requests for buying, selling and recycling pallets in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area and pass them to partner suppliers in our network, who prepare the quotes and fulfil the work. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us.

2. Information We Collect

The quote form collects:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your ZIP or postal code
• Your company and street address, if you give them
• The pallet grade, service, quantity and timeframe you choose
• Anything you add in the additional information box
• Whether you ticked the text message consent box

We also record the page you submitted from and how you reached the site, such as the referring page and campaign tags, and basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type, which help us detect spam.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to pass your request to a partner supplier, so they can prepare a quote and contact you about it, to keep spam out of the form, and to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who Receives Your Request

Form submissions go to the 1DB lead platform, which stores them and forwards them to partner suppliers in our network to prepare quotes. Partner suppliers handle your information under their own privacy practices once they receive it, including when they contact you, quote or fulfil an order. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Text Messages

Text messages are optional. If you tick the consent box on the form, a partner supplier may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Leaving the box unticked does not affect your quote request.

6. Analytics and Cookies

This site uses PostHog analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. Visitors in Europe, and visitors whose browser sends a privacy signal, are counted without cookies or storage on their device. Other visitors may have a first-party analytics cookie or local storage entry set. Session recording is turned off, and the site sets no advertising cookies.

7. Retention

We keep quote requests only as long as needed to pass them on, follow up and keep basic business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your request sooner.

8. Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Canadian privacy law may give you further rights. To make a request, use the quote form or email [email protected].

9. Security

Information sent through the form travels over an encrypted connection. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of the page.
